Vauxhall Vectra tail lights on tailgate

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Variant: 1.9 cdti elite estate
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Has anybody got any Ideas about removing the tailgate panel to get at the tail lights. The ones in the wing are easy but in the tailgate the panel must come off. The car's op manual says to take it to the stealers because it is an electically operated tail.
Thanks in advance.

If you dont want to do DIY or go to the dealers , Halfords do a bulb fitting service .

Thanks again Whittingehame, didn't want to go there, previous bad experience that I had to rectify myself. So I wanted to go diy. The main issue is that the tailgate is electric and there is a close button in the panel that has to come off.
So two possible solutions:
1. Open tailgate and undo battery terminal so tailgate won't come down, bit of a faff and can't see if bulb is working.
2. The 'method used'. just be careful when messing with the switch and be ready to press it if you catch it accidentally. In the event the bulb was fine (electrics were on so easy to see) as when I touched the holder it came on. Simply had to clean and tighten the holder, it had been shorting due to being a tad loose. Look out for the torq screw deep in the interior handle.easy really.
The job's a fish and she passed the MOT later that day!!!
