Vauxhall Vectra boot open light on dash

after having problems opening my boot all seemed well. although the boot is working fine the dash light is telling me that its open. so the interior lights stay on i can turn the lights off put the dash light is doing my wifes head in help

Need to check all the contacts on the boot switch.
Maybe a bad connection....

think there is a boot light switch in the lock could have got damaged when you where trying to get into the boot
