Vauxhall Vectra fuel consumtion and vibrtions

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Variant: 1.9 cdti 150bhp auto
Model Year: 2008
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Good morning,
Hope someone will be able to help me. I'll try to describe the problem as best as I can.
When all is fine fuel condition is as follows:
-cold engine in stationary: 0.3-0.4 gal/h
-warm engine in stationary: 0.2-0-3 gal/h
- constant speed, flat road, cruise on, below 2k rpm: all between 50 and 60 miles/gal depends from driving conditions.

Sometimes suddenly consumption is going up 2-3 times. Cruise still on, speed constant. Computer is showing 22-35miles/galon. Same road and conditions what before. Switching the cruise off and keeping constant speed using the throttle pedal is changing nothing. Sometimes it will happens with cruise off, so there is no rule.
When I stops, in stationary comp will show consumption: 1.1gal/h (5 times more than should). Everything like aircondition or even radio is off. Turning the engine off and back on was solving the problem usually for quite long period. But last light I was 50 miles trip and that happens 10 times! Don't have to say how irritating and expensive that trip was.

I've got this car nearly 4 months now. This happens just few times and Stoneacre technicians said I should come back when that is actually happening. Then they might put my car on diagnostic station. But I'm working 10-11hrs a day and I can never catch them at work on my work run. I've got guarantee from Stoneacre so I need them to sort it out. Don't really want to pay 100gbp somewhere else for diagnostic which may show nothing wrong.

don't know what to do, really.
Will be in contact with Stoneacre again today, but don't belive they will help me.
Any idea, anyone?

I've forgotten to add that when the consumption is going up, there are vibrations going across the whole car. It looks like more powerful engine our something. And the noise is more like tractor-ish.
Changing gears from drive to reverse is a bit harder and it requires more power on brake pedal to keep the car in stationary.
I have not noticed any changes in ride dynamics when at speed whatsoever.

I've found out that this is normal when DPF filter is recharging itself. Seems to be true because everything has come back to normal after few minutes on mway. Will see tomorrow.

i was about to suggest regeneration of particulate filter.more load is put on the engine to generate enough heat to burn off the particles.hence higher fuel consumption
