Vauxhall Tigra no comms to ecm, engine no starting
Variant: 1.4 Sport convertible

No communication with the ECM, ok for body control etc. Car cut out after stuttering to a stop, engine cranks over but refuses to start. Fuel getting up to rail so pump ok. All fuses checked and in good order, as with connectors to sensors etc. Spanner light flashing.

Should be a stored fault code which can be retrieved . Check crank sensor and wiring

Unable to communicate with ecu to retrieve codes. Possibly lost power to ecu port or part of diagnostic socket.
