Vauxhall Tigra boot doesn’t open with door switch or button at rear

Roof opens/closes fine,boot does not open individually with door switch or boot button. Have checked:cleaned door panel electric contacts,replaced fuses.

Lots of problems with the boot and roof on that car , usually needs scanning for fault codes . Some had emergency manual release in passenger door pillar , others have suggested removing battery terminal for 5 mins and refitting cleared and reset lock but only guessing
