Vauxhall Tigra wont turn over

every now and again the engine wont turn over and the battery dies will recharge it's self after a few hours lights and everything else works after it wont turn over, anyone got any ideas please

Check your earth to the engine,Or when the fault occurs place a jump lead onto the negative terminal and a clean earth on the engine.

sounds like your battery may have a dead cell, get the battery tested at you local
