Noticed burning smell when wipers on auto, then they slow down and stop

Cant take any chances with burning smell due to fire risk , needs checked out asap by dealership under warranty . Various possible causes , also some Mokka models were subject to a recall concerning reprogramming the Built-in System Interface (BSI) module with the latest software due to wiper problems

Thanks, yes it’s booked in to get it checked out, just wondered if anyone else had similar

IF subject to a recall , it will be a known fault already reported by many . Could be something simple like a faulty motor but many other causes possible also

Car been in garage, new wiper motor ordered

Thank you for updating the forum Glad it was only the wiper motor and will be covered by the warranty
