I have no rear high brake light.
I keep reading it’s possibly a faulty wire into the coolant area of the vehicle though that doesn’t marry up with the owner manual. Any ideas please and is it safe to drive prior to taking to garage

Assume you do have a centre brake light like they all have and your other side brake lights are operating . If so it may be a faulty lamp or damaged wiring where it enters at top of tailgate ( usually in a rubber sheath )

Thank you I’ll check brake lights. Sorry about the confusion but when I check multiple forums online they mention code 15 as a wiring fault something to do with the coolant/anti freeze area

Vauxhall Meriva error code 15 is for coolant temp sensor and not related to high centre brake light . Different fault all together , may be faulty sensor or wiring fault .

Re coolant temperature sensor, is it safe to drive prior to mechanic tomorrow

How serious is the problem and I need to know is it safe to drive today

If your coolant / antifreeze level in reservoir is o.k and no overheating , it will probably just be a coolant temp sensor fault and safe to drive to mechanic to get it checked .
