Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Not starting, makes a steady clicking noise when I turn the key. Had the same problem a couple of weeks ago, charged the battery for a few hours and it was ok. But this time I've charged the battery overnight and still not working. The head lights come on ok, but all the electrics like the locks and interior lights all flash and go off when I try starting the car and only work again after I've connected the charger.
An error message flashes on the dashboard when it's turning over, but it flashes to quickly to read and it doesn't look like there's any code showing.

Your battery is probably knackered , dud and wont hold a charge no matter how long you charge it . Could check voltage to verify or not

I checked with a multimetre and it's about 10v across the terminals. So I think you're probably right. Just want to check there's nothing else it could be before I buy a new battery

10 v is completely gone . Replace and also check your alternator charging rate
