Vauxhall Meriva emissions warning light

I have a permanent yellow warning light on dashboard so took cat to Vauxhall main dealer near where we live, I was told that the most likely cause of it was the Egr valve, I had a new one fitted and within 24hrs the light was back on, has any one had similar problems and how can I get it fixed.

Take it back to them for fixing as their diagnosing was wrong and part they replaced did not correct fault
