Accelerator not working when pedal is depressed. No issue with the pedal itself. Think this maybe electrical and wondered if anyone knew where the accelerator wiring is situated and how to access it so I can check.

Usually throttle / accelerator pedal or wiring at throttle body .
Thanks for your reply, I'll try that. Is the wiring of this an easy fix? Any other suggestions in case that's not the issue would also be appreciated.

Common problems can be with the plug / connections at pedal or throttle body , but faulty pedal TPS mostly

Thanks for your previous replies. I've now had a look and there are two wires at the top right-hand side of the engine compartment. One blue/white strip , one black; link to electric accelerator. Any idea where these go so I can reattach them?

I've been told the two loose wires not the issue and that it might be the ECU. Any ideas where the ECU is located in meriva (1.4 life 2017)?
