Vauxhall Meriva automatic failure

Car: Vauxhall Meriva
Variant: 1.6
Model Year: 2015
centre locking clicking and something to do with child locks

Can be caused by the micro switch in the lock assemblies on doors sticking if that is where the clicking is coming from and not a relay .

If coming from a door , try opening and shutting a few times or bang with heel of your hand which sometimes frees it . If that is the fault , spray WD40 into locks and open and close a few times to try and get it to work it's way into switch .

If you scan it with the likes of Tech 2/3 it should show a fault code .
