There maybe a simple fix in that the Vauxhall automatic gearbox has a neutral select feature when you hold the car on the brakes and in gear, when in traffic ease off the brake pedal to allow the gearbox to select the gear again and you should find the jerk will be gone, If you were to accelerate straight away you get a jerk as in effect you are revving the engine in neutral then selecting a gear.
