Vauxhall Meriva car symbol with paddlock
Model Year: 2012
can still open the car with the fob. but when you put the key in ignition it has no power. have called out r,a,c twice to start it. they take the conection of the battery for a few mins then attach it back then the car works. they are unsure what is causing this to happen. has happened twice in the last 2 months..

Immobiliser system fault warning (flashes yellow / illuminates red).Tried another key ?

Not a so much a solution but a handy fix. Mine does it from time to time. Remove the battery for 5 minutes and put it back on. Should remove the padlock
