Vauxhall Meriva spanner light on dash

spanner light has come on the dash with 3 bings. Manual says service is nearly and the the clock shows 19982 miles , so the question is with the light showing and the clock showing nearly 20000 is this a reminder or have I got a problem

so its just needs the "service reset" button pressed ....until the service in November

This was for some models / years , not sure if it covers your car .
Vauxhall Zafira, Corsa, Astra and Meriva service inspection light
1. Make sure your ignition is off, and keys out of ignition.
2. Press the mile trip meter reset button on the dash and keep it pressed in.
3. Put keys in ignition and switch on still keeping button held down.
4. The digital display will start to flash and then show as zero.
5. When it becomes zero take finger off and the service instruction will be gone.
If the above doesn’t work for your model then please try below:-
1. Make sure your ignition is off.
2. Press the Brake pedal.
3. Press and hold the Trip button.
4. Put your Ignition on.
5. The INSP will Flash.
6. Release the Trip Button.
