Vauxhall Insignia engine rattle when cold

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: CDTI SRI diesel (160)
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Leaks & Noises
When i start my car from cold there is a rattle which appears when pulling away as i let the clutch out after changing gear. This gradually dissapears as the car warms up. The gear change and clutch both work as sweet as a nut,it has been looked at by my local vauhall dealer, but they cannot put there finger on the problem. Has anybody had a similar problem on an insignia.

Unless it's sever I shouldn't worry - all diesels sound like a bag of spanners when cold.

If your gear shift is as sweet as a nut, from cold, in November, then I should feel very satisfied. Search the net and you will find many Insignia owners with nightmare gearboxes until the engine is hot (v hot).
