Vauxhall Insignia car goes into engine reduced power mode. potential throttle position sensor issue

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: 2ltr.auto.
Model Year: 2018
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Driving from home the other day and the car just went into limp mode. Pulled over and restarted. Limp mode gone but EML still showing on Dash.
Had it diagnosed with a friend on their computer and shows TPS fault. He cleared it and it worked fine for 24 hours. The issue has now happened again.
I saw from the previous post that Vauxhall re-wired something.

Any suggestions.
