Vauxhall Insignia n/s front vibration

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: 2.0 Sri
Model Year: 2018
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Hi,
I have n/s front vibration when traveling at motorway speed 70-80mph, I can feel vibration coming through the floor and feel it in the steering wheel, balancing and tracking has been done on it and still no improvement, all started after going over a damaged manhole (which I didn’t see in dark) caused massive bang tyre never punctured and wheel has been checked, I also have clunking sound occasionally when rocking steering wheel whilst stationary from 12-9, but main issue is the vibration at motorway speed

Check wheel for run out and examine carefully the suspension for bent , damaged control arms or damage to chassis / body at mountings , especially if alignment was out when checked .

Hi,
Wheel alignment was fine when it was checked, what do you mean by wheel run out

Best way is with a clock gauge ( example below ). Try swapping wheels from front to back and retest car

Hi,
Wheels has been checked and swapped front to back with two brand new tyres on the front and this was done at the time of rebalancing
