Vauxhall Insignia odometer not working * ------ showing *

Hi.
This is my 1st post here. Hoping someone can help me out.

My odometer is not working after a battery change. It's just reading with dashes ------ ----- ------
I have disconnected the battery and reconnected, has not solved the problem.

Any ideas?

There may be some sort of reset procedure to go through as you have replaced the battery.Check with your local Vauxhall dealer.
