Vauxhall Insignia jolting when put into drive

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: 2.0 cdti auto
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Gearbox & Clutch
During the recent flash flooding we had I drove through several very large, deep puddles which I thought had resulted in water getting into the transmission fluid. However this has now been changed and the car is still jolting when put in to drive. The problem seems to get worse when the car has been driven for a while but it only happens when selecting drive - all other gears ate fine and it drives perfectly without any jolting when automatically changi.g through the gears. Any thoughts on what this could be please?

Clutch plates in these,
and there are many plates in these boxes used to have problems if water get's into the fluid.
the bonding agent in the friction material is water soluble!
That means they disintegrate.
I don't know if yours are the same but I'd suggest an auto gearbox specialist.
