Vauxhall Insignia droning noise under heavy braking

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: 2.0 cdti
Model Year: 2014
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I'm experiencing a heavy droning noise under heavy braking. The tyres are in good condition & properly inflated, there is no wheel wobble, juddering or grinding, suggesting the discs & pads are ok. There are no knocking noises over bumps, suggesting the bearings & bushes etc are ok, so do you have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?

You can not eliminate the bearings using your logic . A bearing can be noisy without showing the symptoms you describe , especially when loaded .
