Vauxhall Insignia electrics failure/ dashboards warning lights

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: SRI NAV CDTI 1956cc
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
Hi
Recently had problem with an ABS light coming on when turning sharply to the right. This was followed by esp light coming on. Then a few weeks later had electronic parking brake intermittent failure, then eventually complete dashboard failure and car wouldn't start.
Got breakdown out through my insurance and the mechanic came and plugged in diagnostics, which said alternator was overcharging. When it went in the garage they fitted with reconditioned Vauxhall alternator and a new battery as the old one had been fried. No lights coming on when got it home everything fine. Until the any after, got same old problem back with ABS light, and now the other warning lights coming on again.
My question is this: a) has anyone had this problem? and b) is it the alternator again or is it something else to do with the electrics perhaps it is a common Vauxhall insignia fault?
Any ideas guys?

Could be a faulty ABS sensor but they also suffer from instrument cluster faults like the symptoms you describe .See here ,
