Vauxhall Insignia rattling/knocking noise

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: 2.0 CDTI eco flex
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I have a 60 plate Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 CDTI ecoflex which has a service approx 8 weeks ago since then there has been this rattling/knocking noise when you start the car up, when you first accelerate goes off when you change gear then noise returns until about 30/40 mph then it goes. It doesn't happen all the time sometimes you can start the car and pull away and nothing but you stop then restart and it can happen. There is also a ticking noise when you first start the engine? I've took it back to the garage twice and both times the noise hasn't been there (Typical) they don't seem to know what it is. Any ideas please?

A rattle I would say could be a loose cover, is it a metal like noise. Or does it sound like a plastic type rattle? Should point you a little closer. Sounds like it rattles under very low revs when the engine vibrates a little more than normal. If its after the service. Then you must find out what they changed or had to remove to do the service.something must be touching or is loose and wasn't put back properly.
Or could just be a coincidence.
Its hard sometimes to find a rattle as you almost have to be in the engine bay to see what is rattling when your driving

Does the noise stop when you press the clutch. I have had a few cars in with a worn gearbox not clutch and sometimes would rattle
