Vauxhall Insignia steering juddering and grinding noise when manoeuvring

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: 1.8
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I have only had my insignia for 6 months and its been back to the Vauxhall dealer each month.
The problem is with my steering. It's pulling to the left, the wheel judders when hitting speeds of 60mph + and when manoeuvring the car slowly you hear a grinding noise like metal on metal and a woop noise from the steering wheel.
Despite having it a the dealers again and again they can't find a problem. It's driving me crazy.

Any suggestions or help

Get a full geometry / alignment check carried out , wheels balanced and take it to another dealer if they are that bad .

You may have more than one fault .Over the years when I had something similar in the workshop and giving problems , I would take a set of wheels/ tyres of another car and try that .Often solved the problem .Being in a dealership helped having similar cars in stock .Eliminates some possible causes .There are known problems with the steering and vibrations on some Insignias and many complaints from other owners .
