Vauxhall Insignia constant vibration through the steering wheel gear leaver and the underneath of the car

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Variant: 2.0 cdti 160 BHP se
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
I have has the car now for about 14 months from having it a couple of days I noticed that there was a vibration through the above it has never been fixed vauxhall have spent over a couple of grand to fix but with no joy.it has been returned many times now but the fault still present I have paid for new tyres new alloys new break disks and pads another set of wheels and tyres to try and rectify myself as they also thought my original alloys were buckled but was not.

Vauxhall have changed many parts on the car it has also been back for many other issues totalling 13 visits in the last 14 months the last time it was in took 3 weeks and they changed clutch and fly wheel and other parts as well the car came back worse than it went in.

They are now trying to say its a characteristic of the car and not much they can do.

As the vibration is now worse than ever

The wheels are well balanced and no issues with tracking and eilghment either

I need help at this stage as I am at the end of my tether

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a rear wheel bearing but I am sure your garage has checked all bearings, just it felt like the front end was the issue as you could feel it through the roof of the car .

Vauxhall seem to think it is nothing and no vibration there and what they can feel is a normal characteristic so I got an independent vehicle inspection that listed the vibration issue.A commercial director from vauxhall said a letter on headed paper is not proof they seem to not understand they do inspections everyday I used ACE.As it is now out of warrantee and I am not prepared to give it them back again at my cost this time.
Last time they tried to find the fault they had it for 3 weeks done 300 plus miles in it and spent most he time on the dpf filter then changed the cutch and fly wheel.

The vibration runs under my seat through the gear knob through the steering wheel can also feel in the back of the car in the back door handles aswell

I would of thought they have checked everything as they say they are he experts

Evans halshaw told me that they don't believe it is a characteristic
