Vauxhall Insignia funny noise when i turn engine off

Variant: 2.0 turbo diesel
Model Year: 2011

When I turn the engine off above the radiator is a small unit with three pipes two rubber one metal it go's tick tick tick then it sounds like a ships horn sort ov noise I think it may hav something to do with aircon any know wats up would like to know thanks
