Car runs fine but have had so many warning lights come on, engine-repair needed, oil light comes on almost every time but restart engine and it goes, had the issue of unlocking the car and the wing mirrors don’t fold out and the car won’t start then will start after locking and unlocking a few times, warning on the dash about the fog lights and head lights but nothing wrong with them, sat nav turns itself on on the screen and directs us to garages on a daily basis. Car won’t lock for unknown reason but only sometimes, when this issue occurs the boot doesn’t open. The car runs absolutely fine don’t understand what’s going on with it, this has all happened in the first 5 months of ownership

Would suggest you get your car battery LOAD tested as if low it can play havoc with systems and electrics . Maybe needing replaced

Thank you for your reply, was thinking that as mechanically it seems absolutely fine. Will take it to a garage to have a look thanks again

The likes of Halfords , any fast fit centres , good car accessory shops usually check battery F.O. C while you wait . Simple 2 min check
