Vauxhall Frontera 4 wheel drive

when i put my car in 4 wheel drive and set off it judders and pulls to one side then the other and screches as if the tyres are scidding when i pull up and put it back into 2 wheel drive it dose the same for a while untill i stick my foot down then it rectifes its self oand drives fine again please help as im baffold over this fault

it carries on doing it because it takes an amount of time to come out of 4x4
main problem... check all tyres are the same size make sure your not driving in 4x4 unless on mud or snow.it sounds like transmission wind up check owners manual for 4x4 use as there may not be a problem cheeper 4x4 s dont have a centre diff so 4x4 usage is different from landrover/shogun types
