INTERMITENT ABS WARNING LIGHT .....LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF SOMETIMES STAYING ON FOR LONGER PERIODS . cOULD THIS BE A FAULTY CONNECTION RELAY ETC OR A SIGN OF SOME IMPENDING FAILURE
fIRST 4X4 SO HAVE NO IDEA ANY ADVICE GREATLY APPRECIATED

cheek your abs rings for cracks as it can make intermitant abs lights come on
unplug each sensor and test with a multimeter
Once you remove the sensor you should see the two contacts where the plug connects. Clean off any dirt or grime that may have built up in there.

Now put one lead on each contact while your meter is in the Ohms setting. Check your service manual for your vehicle's specific value.
