Vauxhall Frontera brakes

Car: Vauxhall Frontera
Model Year: 2000
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
Ok I brought this car for my son to have a bit of fun. Now the brake pedal one day decided to go really hard and I nearly crash the car, I manage to get home and then I took it to my mechanic, he came up with,
The alternator faulty.
and when the new alternator was fix by a new one we couldn't get the oil pipes in the right place some one tampered with them so we need help figuring out where the pipes go from the back of the alternator to the engine oil pick up to the servo.
He recons now that the servo is a fault, please help me
Thx

you must have a vacuum pump attached to the alternator! It shouldnt be difficult to work out where the pipes go. do you have the correct alternator?

Thx Paul
But yes we have the right alternator, and yes we have the pipes in the correct places (we think) but we have no pedal movement well very stiff, and we can't work out why.
Well I dunno as I said before if its now the servo oh not I just don't know.
