Vauxhall Corsa car cutting out while driving!!

An hour into a motorway journey, while the car was still moving, the dashboard lights came on and the car switched off. I could switch it on again after an hour. An RAC guy had a look and couldn't spot the problem as it was working again when he got there and sent me on my way . 20min later it happened again. Both times on a roundabout. Fuel pump? Battery was fine and car serviced recently, car wasn't overheated. Local garages couldn't seem to find fault either.

A very worrying problem, sounds like it needs to go to a specialist with the right diagnostics equipment.

Update incase anyoone has similar problems. It was the 'crank shaft valve' that needed changing. Went to 7 garages before they figured it out! Engine management fault.
