Vauxhall Corsa electrical management light is on

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: 1.0 life
Model Year: 2004
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
the electrical management light (not engine management) is on constantly , the mechanic told me the computer showed 2 possible problems
1. battery (since changed for new one)
2. the electrical sensor which is attached near the accelerator pedal.

has anyone had this problem and how expensive is this item to change?
where can i purchase this sensor online??

u would probably get the part at a good car breakers but it sounds like u need an auto electrician first to make sure or go to a garage and get a full diagnostic test done posibly vauxhall they can check all the system
