Common fault on Corsas , usually caused by loose connection on multiplug behind dash panel .

Here is someone else's solution to fault ,

The actual fix is to remove the cluster, pop out the multiplug and stick two small pieces of foam behind the plug to tighten the plug in its slot. (The silicone would also do as long as it's left to dry.) Then the actual wiring should be cable tied to the plastic dashboard assembly to stop it vibrating/moving.
