Vauxhall Corsa oil

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: 1.2
Model Year: 2009
Categories: Leaks & Noises
My car is 6 months old and I had it to the garage today for my front wiper that was banging against the side of the windows. They say I need a new motor for the wiper and that I need a top up of oil at a cost of £10.50. Should this oil top up be covered by my warranty??

How many miles has car done ? How much oil are they putting in for a charge of £10.50 ? Topping up engine oil is not covered by warranty and is just routine maintenance . Only exception would be if fault on engine requiring repair .

if the car is new off the line and you havnt had the car to long as most new car do burn a little oil while bedding in but not that much ie a litre i wouldnt have thought but still would be cheaper to buy from a motor factors and top up yourself as and when required if the car continues to burn oil then i would have it back to the garage for a explination to the problem
