Vauxhall Corsa engine managment light on after cylinder head gasket change

Car: Vauxhall Corsa

hi every1,we have a 1.4 r reg auto corsa.
last week we had the cylinder head gasket fixed....
then when we were home with the car after a 15 mile journey the car was ok...no apparent probs....
then the next day the wife took the kids school and when she got home the engine management light came on then it wouldnt start again and it stayed on...
rang the garage and they came out to do a fault code check and told us its the map sensor thats the code its giving faults for....so i went on and got the new map sensor and now its starts again fine (when its not been running for a while)but it seems that when its done a warm up it wants to not work.i feel :vomit: and could really :shoot: sum1.
the car isnt over heating but it seems that when it warms it is a problem, all fluids are ok and petrol etc etc... rang vauxhall and they said all i could do is take it to them but they want 135 quid, now im just hoping that the :mechanic: will sort the prob at no more cost to me. 250 plus a new map sensor and im broke now and :veryangry:
anyone have any ideas please help

map sensor or manifold absolute pressure sensor checks the vaccume pressure inside the inlet manifold, this usualy comes on if there is an air leak check around manifold with engine running spray wd40 in area if rpm changes the wd has located the leak fix leak prob a pipe left off or inlet gasget not fitted correctly.this fixed should fix smell etc
