Vauxhall Corsa trouble pushing into gear

i can still drive my car but when it comes to changing the gear it is very difficult to push it in it is very stiff and when i put it into reverse it sounds as though i am grinding it into gear.

look at the gear linkage at rear of gearbox on the right if you look under the bonnet, you can see it from above. known common fault is the failure of this link and a modified part is supplied by vauxhall they'll know what you need

i had the same problem with mine, it turned out that the clutch cabel needed to be tightened. quite a simple and cheap job.
