Vauxhall Corsa wipers not working

Automatic wipers will not work and deactivates within a few minutes of starting the car.
Manual wipers will not work unless triggering the fastest setting first.
Rear wiper is working fine.

A lot of similar problems with wipers on that car , bit complicated electrical set up compared to older models . Have never heard of a definitive answer or solution . May need a visit to dealers to see if known fault or perhaps a TSB on the matter or software update
