Vauxhall Corsa automatic opening and closing not happening only had car one day

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: Ultimate
Model Year: 2022

At first, when I walked to or walked away the Corsa opening and closing the car it would do it before I reached the doors on the Corsa. After one day it stopped doing it . Considering it was a brand new car I was expecting everything would work. It’s minor, but nonetheless irritating.

Check your settings , usually under Comfort -automatic hands free access - is switched on

If not above , and car is a 2022 it should be still under warranty . If you have had the car since new in 2022 and it failed after a day you should have had it back for fixing then .

If you cant find it in the settings menu , try enabling it by unlocking the car with the button on the key , then press the lock button and hold it down for at least 10 seconds. Then walk away about 12 feet or so and then walk back up to the door and see if it functions

Thanks for that . Just checked and the switch is on ! However , I ll book my car in tomorrow . Thanks again
