Vauxhall Corsa lacks power

Engine starts easily but revs to 1500 RPM max, Might this be an ECU fault or maybe the accelerator Sensor at the pedal, if the former would I be able to fit a secon hand replacement unit having the same part/model number?

Had the battery out?
or has it gone flat?
if so the it needs a throttle body reset.
which needs Vauxhall software.
Or if you haven't had battery problems then you have a faulty idle control valve,
very common.
but it would still need the throttle body reset procedure one a new one was fitted.

You tried checking /cleaning the MAF and replacing fuel filter ?
