Vauxhall Corsa water leaking & slight knocking sound

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: sxi/ac
Model Year: 2014
Categories: Leaks & Noises
I have noticed sometimes. When the car is standing engine idling or when I take it out of the garage there is a pool of water on the floor it seems as though it is coming from the catalyst area (coolant level. Is constantly fine).also a muffled knocking noise think comming from rear somewher, only when starting off after being left ( engine off) when pulling away, lasts a few seconds then not again while driving around.it is not exhaust, cv joints or spare wheel stuff rattling around problems as they have been checked out, any clever people come up with an answer please? (Car is still under warranty).bazz21

If you have air con and had it on, the water may be coming from the air con water drain which is normal on most cars .

Just noticed " sxi/ac " in your model listing . If you had coolant leaking it would be coloured , air con drainage is pure water .This is a normal feature of the system as it is only water dripping from the air conditioning evaporator. The evaporator has a drain tube fitted to allow the condensation from the evaporator to drain away from the vehicle
