REV,S GO UP TO JUST OVER 2000 RPM EVEN WHEN THE CAR
IS STOPPED IN NEUTRAL AND MY FOOT IS OF THE PEDAL.
AS IF THE ACCELARATOR IS STICKING.
CAR RUNS GREAT WHEN COLD.
IT HAS BEEN ON DIAGNOSTIC MACHINE
AND I HAVE REPLACED THE THROTTLE BODY AND ECU UNIT
BUT STILL THE SAME. ????

First thing I'm going to state is these cars need a throttle body relearn procedure whenever there is a new body fitted.
Did your mechanic run this relearn procedure?
If you have doubts then "GOOGLE" OPCOM corsa 1.2 throttle body relearn.
And these relearn procedures need Vauxhall diagnostics like OPCOM or TECH 2.
But as you have already replaced parts I would still do the relearn then check the coolant temperature sensor.
as you state it's fine when cold.
Might not change the signal when hot so in effect it's leaving the choke on.
