Vauxhall Corsa brake light bulbs keep failing

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: 1.8 auto
Model Year: 2010
Categories: Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres
We have had this car 3 years and have had to replace one or other of the brake light bulbs virtually on a monthly basis.
The garage has looked at everything but cannot see why this is happening.

Yes, all that's been thoroughly checked.,someone I spoke to today suggested it could be down to the car being an automatic ? But can't find anything on internet about that.

Being an automatic wont cause it unless you are driving with one foot resting on the brake pedal meaning brake lights on continuously
