Vauxhall Corsa engine warning light

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: 1.2 16v Auto
Model Year: 2000
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Bought this car from a garage last week, he had replaced the o2 sensor before putting for sale because engine warning light kept coming on with loss of power. The code checker said it was the o2 sensor at fault. The light is still coming on especially when accelerating up hill. Took it back this morning and the code checker is still saying o2 sensor even though its had a new one fitted. Any ideas?

Maybe air leak flagging up this code or wiring issue to ECM,or could be any number of issue,s,would start with the basic,s spark, fuel, compression ,test.take it back to the garage and tell them to fix it.it could also be something simple such as a connection issue.
