Vauxhall Corsa starting problems from cold worse since changing crank sensor

hi ,got this car over a week ago ,for daughter ,car was a bit difficult to start in the mornings but would start ,any other time ,changed crank sensor ,now its difficult to start all the time ,she has also been talking of a loud vibration coming from engine compartment if car is left in idle ,ticking over for around ten minuites,any body have any idea,as to what the prob could be ,without changing the obvious ,and costing a fortune, thanks,

Worn chain,60.00 ebay but bit of a strip down to fit,would see if there,s a code logged timing related.

You swapped the CAS and now it's worse?
suggests something to me!
Anywho,having had spate of these in the past year,all with faulty AFM.though no codes usually,
disconnect the AFM and see if it starts better?

the air flo meter maf sensor , are you refering to

thanks for the info guys ,timing chain was changed at 60.000 or so im told no tell tail signs of wear in the chain ,checked the air flo sensor its ok made no difference disconected ,plugged it in no fault codes ,eventually found the problem it was down to an electrical fault behind the dash ,instroment panel bad connection on plug .car starts every time now on first turn of the key
