Vauxhall Corsa water in passenger side footwell

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Model Year: 0000
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Hi I have read about this problem but can anyone help with giving a rough estimate to get it fixed. The water in the passenger side has just started a few weeks ago also my car is due a service, I would take it to the dealership but a bit worried about the added cost of the water problem.

All suggestions appreciated

You dont say what year car is , but impossible to say till the source of leak is located .A good ,local independant garage would save you substantially on fixing and servicing compared to dealership .

There is a plate bolted to the bulk head it has been known for it to leak in if the seal has perished the best thing to do is take out front passenger seat so you can lie inside and get some one with a hosepipe and gently spray water on the bulkhead to see if it leaks .
The best way to dry the car out is to lift up the carpet as best as you can and put a fan heater in there and also to get a dehumidifier in there to take away the moisture in the air from the drying carpets
