hi all.. my little car has a bad clicking problem..

ive held a large screw driver with the point against the engine with my ear on the other end and there doesnt seem to be any clicking coming from the block?? ive also tryed the injection rail and there is clicking but i dont think its loud enough to be that ?? so i tryed the throttle body as thats the area where it seems to be coming from and yes loud clicking and could deffo be the source??? ive looked at throttle bodys for my car and on ebay there £250 lol... is there any chance it is that or not ?? im no mechanic althoughh i can do some of the jobs myself... pls help the clicking is driving me mad now :(

Normally injector click or hydraulic tappet are the usual suspects .

ok ... im gonna do the oil and filter but this time i will use some engine flush and hope it goes some way to stopping it lol...

Could also use a hydraulic lifter cleaner additive if oil and filter dont cure it .
