Vauxhall Corsa acceleration flat spot

Car: Vauxhall Corsa
Variant: 1.3 Cdti Design
Model Year: 2005
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
I am posting for my girlfriend who has a Vauxhal Corsa 1.3 CDTI Design. When she drives the car it has what seems like a flat spot on acceleration, this is a fantastic idea if its meant to be there for being enviromentaly friendly, she has a heavy right foot and it was also noticed by a friend.I dont seem to cause this to happen as i use steady progressive acceleration so can anyone tell me if there is a problem or its driving style?

Try to replace the diesel fuel filter first

Where is the fuel filter located on the 55 corsa dcti,i am unsure as to weather its under the bonnet, very prominent with black casing as it looks more like a pump to me and how easy are they to fit? can they be drained? Thanks for any help and thanks to previous reply.
