Firstly I Would Google Your model for recall faults and see what comes up if anything. Have you approached the filling station you used for other customer concerns for the diesel, Surely a car of seven weeks old has warranty for all parts, Try another Vauxhall dealer to the one you took it to originally and see what they say

As Tim says the first thing to do is to get a letter from the fuel station staing that nobody else has reported any problem with their fuel around that time. Then you have reasonable evidence that the water is getting in some other way. Your dealer should then investigate the cause properly.

thanks guys

The fuel has been tested and has been proven to be OK

I am not happy with Vauxhall as they pointed the finger at Texaco (their recommended supplier!!!)

They told me it was my fault and I would be liable for any costs.

Obviously this is not the case

Not Impressed with Vauxhall

I shall never buy a car at Vauxhall again.
Bye Bye
