Get it scanned to see what the code is telling you, could be the timing is out, but could be a coincidence ie faulty coil pack for example.
I assume the person or garage that did the chain will have started and ran the engine before you got the car back to make sure it was timed up ok.

IF the garage that fitted it was proficient and locked the "movable" sprocket which carries the cam phase sensor wth the correct tools and then tensioned the chain then it couldn't be that.
If they didn't,my guess, then your going to get a cam phase sensor fault when it's code read.
