Vauxhall Corsa fuel gauge

gauge does not show correct amount of fuel. when filling the tank to full the gauge only shows just over 3/4 full. is there a quick fix or is it a garage job.

Underthe back seat you will be able to gain access to the sender unit, remove and check to see if the float is free, and if it actually changes the reading on the gauge when you move the float up and down. If not - fit a new sender.
